Revealing the new Dreamscaper in conjunction with the May1st Reboot 2007!
After what seems like forever, decided to bid farewell to MovableType and hello to Wordpress!
Initially, when i first brainstormed the idea for this blog, i decided that i want it to reflect my whole life story just by looking at the header graphic. This design is created through my heart and soul. Silhouette of a girl working on her laptop as the sun sets behind her in an African landscape and high up above is the starry night sky with the Northern Lights on a magical display.
As you should have guessed by now, that girl is me.
Well, i know we would never in a million years see Northern Lights on display in Africa but that’s just a fragment of my imagination!
To be able to travel to Africa and see the Northern Lights at the North of poles are both on my “Life List” of things to do in this lifetime. So far i have acomplished 7 out of 82. Let’s hope i can accomplish many more this year!
Hope you guys like the new look! ![]()
I’ve been eating way too much for the past few days leading up to my bday.
Friday - Dinner with Evie, budak at Ken’s ramen. Thankfully, me and Evie shared the huge bowl of ramen else i would have wasted food again. Then it’s Island Creamery ice cream, had the burnt caramel flavor. Really nice but i’m also really full at this point of time.
Saturday - Lunch at Ichiban Boshi with poly mates. Ate 8 pieces of suhi and my fave chawanmushi! After the chawanmushi, i was pretty much drugged
Sunday - Dinner with ex-colleagues at Hog’s Breathe at CHIJMES. Then it’s night safari and Ben&Jerry’s ice cream.
Today - Birthday! and running a fever too!
Thanx everyone for the nice birthday wishes through smses and all!
Now i think i need get-well-soon wishes too!
Don’t think i’m seeing a doc tonite, Never seems to be able to finish the prescriptions of antibiotics in the past. Don’t think i shall stuff myself with more.
It’s Earth Day today and we are off to the sea! What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to spend time with Mother Nature herself! The seven of us chartered a boat from Fairy Point to the Black-naped Terns’s nesting site, the Loyang Rock, also known as the Squance Rock, off the coast of Changi.

This special rock has been the tern’s nesting site for many decades. Each year from April-Aug, they will lay their eggs and raise their youngs overlooking the Singapore skyline.
What could possibly be grander than having a BK Ham Crossiant breakfast up and early in the morning?
After the lovely breakfast, met up with a client for another new project. After that was covered, she told me that the posters that i did previously for the SAF, SPF, SCDF medals was a great success. According to her, the MPs and officials said that our booths are the most outstanding amounst all others in the NS40 Exhibition and she encouraged me to go see the exhibition, which was previously staged at Ngee Ann City, and now at Jurong East (21 & 22 April ) and Tampines (28 & 29 April). It’s great to see a big smile on my client’s face after all that hard work.
Here are some lousy shots taken with my camera phone taken at the Jurong East Exhibition. If you happen to be at the exhibition, my posters are at the Medals & Badges section. Just look for the maroon-colored booths ![]()
