Revealing the new Dreamscaper in conjunction with the May1st Reboot 2007!

After what seems like forever, decided to bid farewell to MovableType and hello to Wordpress!

Initially, when i first brainstormed the idea for this blog, i decided that i want it to reflect my whole life story just by looking at the header graphic. This design is created through my heart and soul. Silhouette of a girl working on her laptop as the sun sets behind her in an African landscape and high up above is the starry night sky with the Northern Lights on a magical display.

As you should have guessed by now, that girl is me. Well, i know we would never in a million years see Northern Lights on display in Africa but that’s just a fragment of my imagination!

To be able to travel to Africa and see the Northern Lights at the North of poles are both on my “Life List” of things to do in this lifetime. So far i have acomplished 7 out of 82. Let’s hope i can accomplish many more this year!

Solution for taming the pesky Internet Explorer when you embed Youtube video on Wordpress.

Step 1: Go to your Site Admin > Users > Your Profile > Turn off “Use the visual editor when writing”. This prevents Wordpress from overwriting the “embed”to “ibed”.

Step 2: Strip away all the jargons of object tags and only use for example:
<embed src=”http://www.youtube.com/v/m30p09OrCnk” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” wmode=”transparent” width=”425″ height=”350″></embed>

And there you go! Problem solved!
