What do you know? We now have 8 planets in our solar system…. ( Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune… ) Nope Pluto has not blow up or anything… It’s just that it’s planetary status has just been downgraded to a category know as “dwarf planet”. Who’s to blame? Eris.

“A distant, icy rock whose discovery shook up the solar system and led to Pluto’s planetary demise has been given a name: Eris. Since its discovery last year, Eris ignited a debate about what constitutes a planet. Astronomers were split over how to classify the object because there was no universal definition. Some argued it should be welcomed as the 10th planet since it was larger than Pluto, but others felt Pluto was not a full-fledged planet.
After much bickering, astronomers last month voted to shrink the solar system to eight planets, downgrading Pluto to a dwarf planet, a category that also includes Eris and the asteroid Ceres.”

Think all the textbooks and encyclopedias in the world are due for serious overhaul…

Been using HipCal to record all my tasks and events for the day. Every tiny little task, even lunching, bathing etc. I could plan for the day, or for the hour. So every single minute of what i’m doing are recorded down. Somehow, everything seems so clear and in order. And viola! all the stress and anxiety just vanished into thin air!
Many a times, we wonder where the hell all the hours gone. Frustrated that there’s simply not enough hours in a day to go around. What we didn’t realise is we spend alot of time doing unecessary things without realizing. Blogging, surfing, chatting, sitting in front of the tv even though there’s nothing nice on, day-dreaming or forgetting things we have to do and so have to make up for lost time…
That’s why i love to make lists… and now even better, i can do it with HipCal and have a list as well as a calender!

Another day at the library… not forgetting a quick brunch at Burger King Yup, that’s all i had for the whole day till i get home at 5PM.

You know how everytime come 2-3pm, your brain just starts to crawl at snail speed? Partly due to the irritating hot sweaty weather…. Partly due to low-blood sugar, coz when you just had a lunch full of carbo and sugar, your blood sugar level spike up and then crash and burn to pit-bottom low.

So lately i’ve been doing this brunch thing, and it seems to work on me. I’ll usually have brunch when i go to the library coz after i go in at 11AM (opening time), i dun wanna come back out at 1PM for lunch.

I just love it! i can bookmark sites with a click of the button, brings me to a page type in the keywords and description and then automatically brings me back to the page i was reading on earlier after i click submit. Best of all, u can share bookmarks with your friends and see what cool sites they’ve bookmarked. There’s also an option of making a bookmark private. Keeps things very organised and with auto-thumbnail generation to boot!
